First shots from Kamen Rider Decade All Riders vs. Daishocker!
So has the dream come true? All the main Riders ever are coming together to fight evil on August 8th 2009?! Well from the looks of it, YES!
But that’s pretty much it. This will either turn out to be the BEST RIDER MOVIE EVER, or the most disappointing one.
If they can get most of the Showa and Heisei guys back then yes, this will be a childhood dream come true. But seeing how Decade has been recasting everyone left and right, I am not sure about it anymore, especially Showa. To recast the Showa guys with new actor is a disgrace. I know it’s a bit much to think everyone is coming back but let’s hope they do and in human form. Voice is okay if they are the authentic voices not some random actors.
Well this is pretty big news in the Toku world and everyone has already been predicting how it will turn out. Whatever happens the guys are back let’s hope they can make this movie right!

Well, from the looks of it, not everyone’s coming back from Heisei either.
I don’t about the others, but I do know that Odagiri Joe has a role in an upcoming Chinese film, so the likelihood of his making an appearance doesn’t seem all that possible as it is.

I’m going to try and be optimistic as ever. Just the prospect of the whole thing is so grand, and basically since 2000 people have been asking for something like this to happen!
I’d be happy even if they get just a few of the core ones back- Fujioka, Miyauchi, Kurata… but the more the merrier of course. It’s really down to Toei actually bothering to put in the effort and get them. I really hope they use this chance to get some of the original Heisei Rider actors back too- they really need to be in this or the series finale for the whole thing to pay off.
Riderman’s obviously going to be a tricky one. There’s a couple ways they could pull it off, but I think ultimately there’s so many Riders already that they’d most likely pull a ZX and give the important parts to the ones they can actually get the actors for (like how V3 is more important than Rider 1 in that special!)
Whatever happens, I’m excited! This has all the potential to be the ultimate Rider movie.

I don’t reckon Toei would bring all of the original actors together. Hell, they should go to Tsubaraya for advice on movies like these – Great Decisive Battle:8 Ultra Brothers does it all with past actors.
